CCC AUTO BODY TECHNOLOGY & AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY OPEN HOUSE

Thursday, April 25th

CCC-Hastings is hosting an Auto Body Technology and Automotive Technology Open House on Thursday, April 25 from 4-7 PM in the Furnas Building on the Hastings CCC Campus. Students can meet current students and instructors and see a variety of demonstrations as well as tour the facility, labs, and classrooms.

SOUTHEAST COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISCOVERY DAYS

Milford Campus: Friday, April 26th

SCC Discovery Days give students and parents the opportunity to tour an SCC campus and discover the numerous available opportunities. Participants will learn about each program on the campus they visit and have the opportunity to speak with instructors and staff. Each event day runs from 9:30 to 1:15 and lunch is included. NORTHWEST KANSAS TECH JUNIOR DAY – Thursday, May 2nd

This day will give juniors a chance to observe what Northwest Tech has to offer based on their programs of interest and to see how they are growing. Check-In starts at 8:00 a.m. MST and the event runs until noon. They will provide lunch and prizes as well as have their athletics and activities booths present to browse as well. Juniors will have the opportunity to shadow up to four of their 15 programs: Auto Body Repair, Auto Technology, Business Technology, Carpentry, Computer Graphics Technology, Cosmetology, Crime Scene Investigation, Diesel Technology, Electrical Technology, Engineering and Drafting Technology, Medical Assistant, Mobile Application and Gaming, Precision Ag Technology, Respiratory Therapy, and Welding.

UNL COLLEGE OF ARCHITECTURE HIGH SCHOOL WORKSHOP

Sunday, June 16 – Friday, June 21, 2019

This is for students who have completed at least two years of their high school education and have an interest in architecture, interior design, or landscape architecture. There are spaces for 36 students to participate and those attending are eligible for a $1000 College of Architecture Student Scholarship drawing. UNL DREAMBIG ACADEMY – College of Business (Juniors) – July 21-25, 2019

Applications are now available for the 2019 University of Nebraska-Lincoln DREAMBIG Academy. This FREE program is a great opportunity fo rstudents to learn about business,k their strengths and how they can leverage them in a career. This is for high school juniors and will be held July 21-25, 2019. Those who apply should meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Current high school junior with a 2.5 GPA or higher
  • First generation college student
  • Qualifies for free and reduced lunch program
  • Experience with diverse communities
  • Interested in business
