MID-PLAINS COMMUNITY COLLEGE – 2019 Spring College Visit Days

Wednesdays: January 16th, February 13th, and March 6th from 9:30am – 2:00pm

This Spring Mid-Plains Community College started something new and have added College Visit Days for both McCook and North Platte Campuses!  They are Wednesdays January 16th, February 13th and March 6th.  If you are interested in MPCC you are encouraged to come to one of these days.  It will be a great day filled with important information, campus tour, meeting with program faculty, and having lunch with students and staff!  Here is the link for Registering for the Visit Days

Central Community College is hosting Dental Days for students interested in Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting at the Hastings Campus on January 28 from 6-8 pm, February 22 from 9-11am, or March 29 from 9-11 am. If you’d like to attend, register at: Dental Days/Central Community College.

COLBY COMMUNITY COLLEGE – TROJAN JUNIOR DAY – Wednesday, February 6th, 10:30am

Colby Community College’s Trojan Junior Day is an opportunity for students to gain more information about what Colby has to offer. UNK GREEK PREVIEW DAY – Friday, February 22nd

The University of Nebraska – Kearney, Fraternity and Sorority Life has their annual Greek Preview Day coming up on February 22nd, 2019. This is a great opportunity for students to meet with members of the Greek Life and Loper community, learn more about what Greek Life is, learn about the campus, and interact with the campus for a day! If you are interested in pursuing a medical career you should consider attending the CCC Health Sciences Education Expo on April 3 from, 8:30-3:15. All medical programs offered through CCC will be featured. Registration is limited to the first 120. Registration forms and more information are available in the Guidance Office.

UNL DREAMBIG ACADEMY – College of Business (Juniors) – July 21-25, 2019

Applications are now available for the 2019 University of Nebraska-Lincoln DREAMBIG Academy. This FREE program is a great opportunity fo rstudents to learn about business,k their strengths and how they can leverage them in a career. This is for high school juniors and will be held July 21-25, 2019. Those who apply should meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Current high school junior with a 2.5 GPA or higher
  • First generation college student
  • Qualifies for free and reduced lunch program
  • Experience with diverse communities
  • Interested in business
