HHS ANNOUNCEMENTS          February 27, 2020

Happy Birthday to Harrison Elliott and Parker Ellis.

Boys Varsity Basketball Sub-District Final at Kearney High School vs. Kearney Catholic at 7:00pm.

There will be a meeting for all athletes interested in Track, and are not still involved in a winter sport, today, February 27th in the cafeteria at 3:40pm.  See Coach Hale if you have any questions.  Practice starts on Monday, March 2nd.  You must have a physical on file with the front office to begin practice.

The FCCLA Chapter is selling beef sticks for $1.00.  Contact an FCCLA member to purchase. 

Boys Soccer Meeting today, right after school in Coach Bailey’s room.

National FFA Week Activities Continue: 

Today, February 27th – HHS Farmer Dress-up Day – HHS Students dress up as a Farmer for the Day.  There are prizes for the Best Dressed Boy and Girl in each Class. 

              FFA Officer Middle School Recruitment – Officers will be at the Middle School from 8:00am until 1:45pm.  

Friday, February 28th – Teacher’s Breakfast at


Any Juniors who are interested in attending the Rotary Youth Leadership Camp (RYLA) during the summer should sign up in the Guidance Office by Friday, February 28th to receive more information.

FCA will be partnering with 4th Avenue Coffee for their meeting on Sunday, March 1st.  Meet down at 4th Avenue Coffee at 5:30pm for a FREE drink.  We will also be giving away t-shirts and gift cards.  Everyone is welcome, so bring a friend and come join us. 

Please pay your Spring Fees for Track, Soccer, Girls Tennis, Boys Golf, and the Spring Play.  If you have a sibling at the high school, check with the office before you pay because of the $150.00 limit.   

Please pay your class dues.  These dues will allow you to go to Prom and participate in Graduation. 

You can pay fees online, or bring a check or cash to the front office.  THANK YOU.

The final deadline for yearbook orders is March 20th.  If anyone is still interested in a yearbook you need to get your order in as soon as possible.  

Pick up a Brochure about Drivers Education in the front office.  This is with Central States Safety & Drive Training and you save money with this new company. 

Prom out of town date forms are in the front office and the guidance office.  The forms are due Wednesday, March 25th.
